Auto Transform your fleet to make it move smarter

News

For over 30 years now,  Auto Transform has grown and helped business fleets improve their efficiency through transformational upgrades to their vehicles, improving the range of products and services it offers along the way.

Auto Transform takes ‘design, build and deliver’ to a whole new level, with planning and consultation with the customer to discuss the requirements of the vehicles, where they are expected to operate, what they will carry and how to store equipment efficiently.

At Auto Transform, much of what’s needed will be off-the-shelf for the installation of utes, vans, tour vans, trucks up to seven tonnes and speciality mobility vehicles as well as a growing number of service body trailer units.

Sometimes however, there is bespoke work to be done and this is also something Auto Transform knows more than a little about with a crew of over 50 enthusiastic and dedicated craftspeople – handling the welding, joinery, upholstering, shelving, flooring, lighting and anything else the work order documentation calls for.

“Making sure what we have done is exactly what the customer wants or needs is a crucial part of what we do,” says general manager Daniel Stanners.

Staying up with contemporary trends is something that is second nature to Auto Transform. Modifying electrified commercial vehicles is a big thing, perhaps not for utes – just yet, but that will change very soon as more vehicles become available – but certainly for vans.

Enhancing commercial EVs or Plug-In hybrids (PHEVs) is a delicate business, which Auto Transform already has some experience with.

“We understand that while there may be specific requirements when it comes to electric vehicle fit-out,” explains Sales director Josh Stanners, “there is a lot of common ground with conventionally powered vehicles, chief among which is the importance of improving safety and efficiency.

“The design of components to aid in safe equipment storage, providing practical and intelligent workspaces, having the convenience of onboard power and lighting as well as the ability to carry raw product is all part of how Auto Transform can make your van fleet move smarter.”

Auto Transform’s range of van fit-out products minimises the weight of the fitout components and therefore keeps the best part of your vehicle’s payload intact.

Your team are going to find that a professional and well-thought-out vehicle fit-out will improve their productivity with places for everything and everything in its place.

The modular nature of the components combined with the OEM calibre of Auto Transform’s fit-out process ensures optimisation of your vehicle’s working space.

The modularity also allows for different elements of the fit-out to be customisable to a large degree and to make sure customers have the best opportunity to customise their vehicles to their requirements, Auto Transform’s Online Vehicle Configurator allows customers to develop smart moving solutions in the comfort of their own office/home.

Developing the configurator took a considerable amount of time, but as Josh Stanners of Auto Transform points out “collecting the data needed for this project was always going to be challenging, but we’re pleased with the result and we’re sure our customers are going to appreciate the benefits the Online Configurator has to offer.”
