The Atto 3 Evo brings major upgrades to performance, range and charging speed while retaining the practicality that has made the Atto 3 New Zealand's most popular BYD model.

A New Platform, A New Standard, 3 Variants to Choose From

The Evo range now offers a choice of front wheel drive for the Dynamic (60kWh), rear-wheel drive – Premium (74kWh) and the all-wheel drive Performance model (74kWh). The rear suspension moves from a four-link layout to an even more sophisticated five-link system for improved dynamics.

Atto 3 Evo Dynamic

The Dynamic variant is equipped with a 60.48kWh BYD Blade Battery and delivers up to 420km WLTP combined range, providing strong practicality for daily driving. The Dynamic model supports DC charging up to 110kW. Braked towing up to 750kg.

ATTO 3 Evo Premium

The Atto 3 Evo Premium features DC fast charging at speeds of up to 220kW - nearly triple the charging capability of the outgoing model. This allows the Atto 3 Evo to charge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 25 minutes, dramatically cutting time spent at the charger for long journeys or busy weeks on the road. It offers a larger 74.88kWh BYD Blade Battery with up to 510km WLTP combined range, giving added confidence between charges. Braked towing up to 1500kg.

Atto 3 Evo Performance

The all-wheel-drive Performance variant adds a front motor for a combined output of 330kW and 560Nm of torque, slashing its 0-100kphh time to just 3.9 seconds – a unique proposition in the all-electric family SUV class – while still delivering excellent WLTP Combined range of 470km. Braked towing up to 1500kg.

Upgrade to smarter Di-Link and Cloud Service

The evolved Atto 3 introduces an upgraded Di-Link intelligent connected system, delivering a cleaner interface and faster, more intuitive in-car experience, with wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto giving drivers easy access to navigation, calls, music and messages.

A new intelligent voice assistant adds faster command response and accurate voice zone recognition to cut down on interference from other passengers, working alongside touchscreen and physical controls for flexible, user-friendly operation.

Through BYD's Cloud Service, drivers can also remotely monitor and control key functions via the mobile app including door lock/unlock, air conditioning, windows and vehicle location with NFC key entry and scheduled climate control helping the cabin be ready before every journey.

Exterior updates

The Atto 3 Evo introduces a sharper and more modern exterior design, led by BYD’s latest Dragon-face styling and a new full-width daytime running light signature. The refreshed front profile delivers a cleaner, more confident presence while staying true to the beloved Atto 3 character.

 

Interior and safety updates

The Atto 3 Evo features an all-new column-mounted gear selector, new steering wheel design and grey interior colourway, alongside an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, upgraded air conditioning system, rain-sensing wipers, driver monitoring system and child presence detection. Premium and Performance models also add in front cross-traffic alert and braking.
